I am not much of a print person outside of a few florals and stripes, but lately I've really fallen in love with leopard. Some say leopard is a neutral, and yes, I do agree it can act as a neutral - I also think it deserves to be center stage from time to time. Today was no different! I wanted to wear this print front and center. I've had this particular dress for a few years now, but found several options like this one and this one.
I really like how versatile leopard looks. It can go tough with leather or softer with lace. For this look, I wanted to wear something ultra feminine. Lately, I've been into a more girly look and decided a simple bow would add something special to an otherwise thrown together hairdo. Accessories do not have to be over the top and I like to play with items outside of jewelry. Lately, I've done a lot with scarves, but a simple ribbon can add a nice touch to an otherwise simple hairstyle.
For the past few weeks I've been dying to stop by Smallcakes over in the Energy Corridor in Houston. It's completely pink inside and has over 227 different flavors! They rotate flavors constantly and I was dying to try their strawberry cupcake. Let's put it this way, the longest it stayed in my hands was to take a few quick pics and I scarfed that little guy right up. If you are on the west side of the city, I highly recommend dropping by Smallcakes on Eldridge Parkway.
