Memorial Day Weekend is such a special holiday for my family. After having my Dad spend 24 years active duty, we spend every year celebrating and remembering those who served our country. 

Whenever I visit rural areas, I feel somewhat in a dilemma. I want to look cute for a BBQ, but also comfortable in Texas heat. This skirt and tunic combination was excellent for today. I live the color of navy mixed with pale pink. I've mentioned it before, but Ted Baker makes the best purses. This pearl pink one is just the right size and shape to carry essentials plus a good camera.
