Golden Hour
Have you ever had a DIY project that just turned out perfect? This skirt was one of those projects for me. I've worn it in several occasions, including here. But, this monochromatic look really does it justice. In my effort this year to wear more neutrals, the texture is what sets this outfit apart. The metallic sheen on the top with the soft tulle makes this such a glamorous outfit. I actually made this skirt by cutting off the top of a dress and turning down the waste band, however A Pair and a Spare has a great tutorial listed in the links above. She has some of the best DIY tutorials on the web with excellent directions and clean looking pictures. I also highly recommend her book!
