One of the things I hope viewers get out of my blog is finding inspiration with affordable items. There are a ton of really successful bloggers out there (many in which I follow), but I want the tone of my blog to feel like real life. I tend to spend more of my money in items like shoes or purses instead of buying a $200 shirt, because it gives me more versatility in my wardrobe.

The other thing I really try to incorporate is DIY projects. There are so many easy tutorials on the internet that it's almost silly to buy every single item yourself. Plus, when a DIY turns out great - you have the pleasure of saying when complimented, "Thanks, I made it myself!" It's definitely a confidence booster.  Today I decided to go with something super simple for the office, a cowl neck sweater looks great with a circle skirt. I absolutely love color blocking and anything monochromatic. It really allows anyone short or petite to appear taller.
