Color Wall

I've been dying to wear this top since I bought a few months ago. It's so hot in Texas for so long, long-sleeves are really a challenge to wear. I saw it on clearance when I was doing a little back to school shopping and decided to put it away for the time being. Finally, it cooled off just enough to pull it out. I've found a few similar items for you in my shop the post carousel below if you are looking for something similar.

I love to wear head to toe in a single color. I find the look is a great way to play with texture instead of color. You'll find in several of my posts I'm a big fan of color blocking, but when you dress monochromatic - it's great to wear different shades or textures. Here is a mix of leather, lace, and crepe. All cream is a year round color and looks great for many warm skin tones. If you are on the cooler side, a soft white would probably suit you better.

The tunic I'm wearing is actually over a jumpsuit since it's sheer. It made the outfit less bulky than if I wore a top and pants. It also made it easier to put the outfit together and a new way to wear a jumpsuit. Jumpsuits are one of my favorite options outside of wearing dresses and this is an easy way to transition one from warmer to cooler months.

Another thing I recommend is to think about your makeup when you are wearing something monochromatic. I wanted the look to feel effortless, and not too overdone with the heels and lace so I opted for a nude pallet. I've added a few recommendations below, but my go to for anything made out of natural products is Younique
