For Mother's Day we decided to tour the Port of Houston. I had no idea that it's the 2nd largest port in the United States and the fourth largest around the world.

We had lunch with his family at a delicious mexican food restaurant with unlimited chips and salsa. It was such a relaxing and fun filled day! If you are in the Houston area, I highly recommend calling and making a reservation on the boat. It's a free service, you just have to do a little planning ahead.

My outfit was relaxed and breezy. I added a scarf in case I was chilly and wore my favorite pair of navy shorts. I wasn't sure if the boat would allow shoes, so I brought these wedges I've been getting a lot of use out of lately. We shot these photographs right outside of where you dock. There are huge mosaic murals that are very colorful and inspiring.
