Patent Bow

I think the item I've worn the most over the past year has been my Ted Baker totes. Yes, I have this amazing bag in 3 colors and wear one almost everyday. They are so roomy - big enough to use as an overnight bag, work bag or even a diaper bag (although no babies right now). Plus, at $60 a pop, you can't really beat the price.

Ted Baker is a designer from London I've been watching over the past two years. The design is classic and feminine. I hope to add more clothing items - right now I've only purchased his shopper and pink structured bag. My favorite part about the items I do own, are the pretty little bows. I'm quite the sucker for anything with a bow.

I decided in this post to finally showcase a dress I bought a while back at Urban Outifitters. Finding embelleshed items that are not to over-the-top or gaudy can be a challenge for the petite gal. I err on the side of monchromatic when I do look for embellishments. That way you don't show up looking like a disco ball. Since the weather is cool in the mornings, I added a grandpa sweater and simple patent ballet flats for an easy look.

This was actually worn for a day at work, but since the dress is made out of the softest cotton (which Urban Outfitters is notorious for), I would easily throw this in a suitcase for travel or wear on a Saturday afternoon walking around.

Dress: Urban Outfitters (other ones I like here and here). Shoes: Jessica Simpson. Sweater: Old (like this one). Shopper/Tote: Ted Baker.
