Simple DIY Makeup for Every Day

I am always on the look for makeup products that enhance my natural features. I've been working on some new content for the beauty tab on the blog and will be posting more to come in the next few weeks around hair and makeup looks. This look is my go to for every day simple makeup. Since my dear friend Roxanne introduced me to Younique,  I have been in love with their products. I recently posted here all about why I love the company and some of my favorite products.

I've subscribed to both Ipsy and Birchbox over the past year and collected several items makeup and beauty products. Some of these I've used over and over - like the eyeshadow I'm wearing here from Pixi, and others have encouraged me to try items in their product line that were not even sample. Benefit sent me a small mascara awhile back and I was curious about some of the other products the offered. I finally picked up their lip and cheek stain. It's an item I wear every single day! If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend going out and purchasing it. The bottle has lasted me since June and it's not even halfway empty.

This makeup look took less than 10 minutes and I wear it for work on a regular basis. I like that my lashes take center stage, but still use a little liner for emphasis on the top lid and inside corners of my eyes to add sparkle. Another product I really love is the mascara I'm wearing - it adds volume, lengthens and conditions my lashes. The product comes with two bottles and lasts about 30 months.
