Dripped

Did I mention how much I love, love, love  vintage? The best part is that you can find high quality at a ridiculously low price. I've been pondering starting an online vintage shop... I'll keep you posted once I decide on that one. In the meantime, I thought it would be fun to share this adorable ensemble worthy of a straw hat and sandals for the summer.

I guess I have vacation on my mind. The last few outfits I've posted seem to have a spring or summer feel. Lucky me, I live in Houston - so our winters are really like spring most of the time. This dress was picked up in Montrose. If you want some tips for vintage shopping, see this post. I'm a childhood thrift shopper, probably an expert at this point. I've been bargain shopping since I could walk.

This mexican style dress is a sweet color and the embroidery is not overpowering. I like the way the shoes play off the flower details on the dress. I will add some flat sandals to this and wear to the beach, pool or pretty much any water oriented activity over the summer. The dress can be worn off-the-shoulder or as a short-sleeved top.
