Floral Dress

Spring is just around the corner and with the Groundhog not seeing it's shadow - I'm already in the mood for some garden party dresses. Florals are a great print for anyone who is looking for a light, airy and feminine look. It's one of my favorite patterns and I'm looking forward to adding more floral prints in the form of accessories as Spring approaches.

This dress is yet another vintage find - but I wanted to show you how to mix and match vintage with updated pieces. I added a rose gold tote (a favorite of mine) and platform sandals to give it a different feel. This dress would be really cute with a pair of feminine bow detail pumps like these

I've been scouring some of my favorite places for more Spring items like this dreamy number by Ralph Lauren (less than $60) or this iced mocha color long sleeved dress (less than $50). Speaking of prints, I really love gingham too! I've been rounding up some of my favorite gingham items - you can shop them on the home screen of the blog (see this one, this one and this one).

I am going to be wearing several of my favorite lightweight jackets and sweaters as the change in seasons approaches. Lightweight dresses are great to pair with a trench coat or a lightweight blazer during this time of year. I've also switched up my nail color choices to lilac and a pale cotton candy pink. I'll be adding some new beauty posts in the coming weeks around lightening your makeup for Springtime.
