A few weeks ago I took a short trip to San Antonio. While I was there, I picked up this beautiful striped maxi dress on sale from Steinmart. At first I hesitated thinking that maybe it wasn't right for this time of year but loved the colorful print so much I couldn't pass it up. I decided that afternoon to add a pair of over the knee boots and my suede moto jacket. It turned out to be just the right combination.

I finished this look off with a touch of magenta lipstick and earrings. I felt my yellow Dinky purse was a good compliment to all of the colors in the dress. This bag has a really easy to remove strap and can convert into a clutch if need be. 

San Antonio has so much culture and is really one of my favorite cities. I'm putting together an itinerary to share with you guys of the whole weekend. It's about a three hour drive from Houston and an hour from Austin. It is such a romantic place to visit and I love how it has a Southwest feel. Also, if you are craving Mexican food this is definitely the place to be. We ate brunch over at Grayze on Grayson ordering mimosas and bloody mary drinks. They had a great patio so it was nice to relax and feel the cool breeze as we ate.
