5 Skincare Products I Can't Live Without

Skincare has been a battle for me ever since I had my daughter eight years ago. I never struggled with it during my teenage years, but once I gave birth it seemed like my hormones changed permanently. After a lot of trial and error I finally found a good skincare regimen and products that work for me.

Josie Maran Argan Oil Cleanser - I've mentioned before  I love First Aid Beauty's Cleanser and use it often but lately I've really taken to Argan Oil Cleanser. It sounds weird to  use oil to clean your face but I found this cleanser removes makeup without drying my skin out.

Noxzema Cleansing Pads - I use these immediately after getting out of the shower. They help removing anything my cleanser missed while toning.

Kiehls Breakout Control Targeted Acne Spot Treatment - After stopping by a Kiehl's store in an airport last Winter I discovered their product line. They've been around since 1851 and I now understand why. Their products are tried and true! I really like how effective their spot treatment is. I use it as soon as I feel a breakout coming on.

Kiehl's Breakout Control Acne Treatment Facial Lotion - After using their spot treatment I use this lotion in the mornings. It's lightweight but still helps control acne. It doesn't seem to dry out my skin.

First Aid Beauty's Ultra Repair Hydra-firm Sleeping Cream - I use this cream at night after applying spot treatment. It's a thicker formula and my skin always seems so hydrated the next morning. I also really love their Ultra Repair Cream for daytime use. It works with all different types of skin whether oily or dry.

Another thing that makes a huge difference in my skin is to cut out dairy and drink tons of water. Diet directly affects my skin and to figure out what caused the most problems I started eliminating dairy, gluten and meat. Slowly I added some of them back into my diet to see where the problem was. Sure enough it was dairy! Although I am not a nutritionist nor am I a skincare expert I found what worked best for my skin. I'd love to hear about your skincare regimen or products that work for you!
