Floating Blue
As Spring is quickly approaching, I am pulling out a few inspiration looks for my upcoming travels over the next few months. I love this floaty blue dress and wore it awhile back on an Instagram post. I've been dying to pull it out for a blog post and when I saw an aqua wall a few weeks back for lunch... I knew it would be a perfect place for the dress and kimono combination. All of the outfits I wear on the blog are outfits I've worn in real life, sometimes though - I actually shoot them for the blog on a separate occasion.
Mint and this perfect shade of blue look so complimentary. I thought about adding a pop of peach for my shoe and since the outfit was made of a lightweight material, I thought it made sense to wear a heavier shoe for a base. I grabbed one of my favorite bags from a local Houston company, Francesca's and headed out for a quick stop at a coffee shop.
