Have you ever wanted to buy a bright colored coat but feared that you wouldn’t be able to match it with enough stuff to get use out of it? Surprisingly, colored coats get a ton of use. I really love this one I picked up at the end of winter last year. I remember walking by it a few times during the holiday season and then in February it was marked down. A pastel coat works great with everything from dresses (like this white one in this post) to white jeans (see here and here).
Blush and pale blue are easy to incorporate in your wardrobe. From jeans to business attire, it’s perfect to pair with neutrals like camel, white or black. Instantly an outfit gets elevated with a little bit of color. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite blush and blue coats below if you want to shop the look.
Here in Houston, we really don't get a true Fall until the end of November and early December. The leaves are finally starting to change warm orange and fire red. The weather is consistently cooler and it's been raining less than it did over the Spring and Summer. It's a really nice time of year to get out and visit some of the lovely parks around town like Hermann Memorial's rose garden. There's also a variety of activities available for Christmas including Zoo Lights and an outdoor ice skating rink at Discovery Green.
