New Year’s Eve is just a few days away! Looking back over the past year, I just cannot believe how quickly it flew by. I’m putting together a few sparkly looks to share over the next few days for you to peruse. Starting out I thought let’s talk a little about black. You can’t go wrong with neutrals. A simple black sequin skirt and off the shoulder top is an easy to throw together look you can do at the last minute. Whether you are heading out for a party or a dinner, it’s a timeless look.
I picked up this jacket earlier in the season from one of my favorite clothing lines ever – LC Lauren Conrad at Kohl’s. This was one I ordered online and it came in two color options. It’s a soft suede like materials and has rose gold details. I paired it with matching pumps to make the outfit modern and streamline. Although I usually gravitate towards more feminine silhouettes and fabrics, I like the edgy feel this outfit has for an occasion like NYE.
This vintage locket has been a favorite over this past season. Sometimes all you need is one piece of jewelry to throw an entire look together. Instead of a necklace, you could swap out for studded earrings or a statement ring. Keep the jewelry simple and to a minimum so you don’t look over powered or like you are trying too hard.
