On the Ranch
Last weekend my sister and I took a trip to Boerne, TX for a sister only weekend. It was so fun to just getaway with her and spend some much needed family time. We grew up traveling so much together and I thought it would be fun for us to take a weekend to see something new. We decided to get a little of both of our worlds in - I prefer all things outdoors and she prefers to be inside dark places. We ended up deciding to do a weekend at a ranch, hiking and a tour of Cascade Caverns (which I'll be posting more about later).
We decided to take advantage of AirBnB and rent a cabin home on a ranch. It was such a pleasant experience and our host, Carol was delightful. On the ranch was the sweetest horse. The cabin was decorated very eclectic with pops of turquoise throughout. I loved how the big plantation shutters overlooked sunrise every morning.
I brought with me very relaxed clothes for the weekend like this lace up linen tunic, my favorite DIY cut offs and an off the shoulder dress. I also wore a simple straw hat (last seen here and here) and my red Hunter boots I bought for the Fall season. i wanted to feel comfortable hiking and walking around.
