Navy // Mustard
Top: Marshall's (almost identical and under $30 here) // Bag: Coach c/o // Shorts: Old Navy (similar) // Sunnies: Nine West // Boots: Vintage (Feather's Vintage, similar)
On the weekends I usually find myself gravitating to more pairs of shorts or free flowing dresses. I work in an office setting M-F and although I have a laid back setting, I still try to wear things that are polished. I've been on a little bit of a yellow kick lately. It started with this bag when I collaborated with Coach and carried over into the past couple of months. This yellow bag has been a current favorite and works great with a variety of options from casual to dressy.
I decided to bring this top (worn last here) into the Spring season by pairing it with my favorite navy and white gingham shorts (seen last Summer here, and again in this post, and on the Daily Dose feed here). These vintage boots are from my favorite store in Austin, TX (see here for more that post), and I wore them last with a pair of DIY cut off shorts and chambray top. I like the two toned leather and they worked perfectly with this mustard leather bag. This swing cut lace top was one I picked up last Winter, but found an almost identical version here from my favorite line of clothing LC Lauren Conrad.
Mustard Swing Tops
Lately I've been working on new ideas for photography. I played around last Fall with back lighting (see this post this one and this one), but now I'm looking at changing some of the composition of my photographs. I think it's really important to make sure you are constantly improving and trying new things as you develop skill sets. When I started learning about photography, all I knew is that I wanted to take something that was similar to what I saw through my eyes. It's still a huge work in progress and I'd really like to upgrade to a new camera. However, for now I'll keep on with what I have and see what I can come up with! Do you have any photograph tips? I'd love to hear about them.
