Chambray Jumpsuit

With flowers about to bloom and the afternoons warming up I wanted to start sharing a few Spring inspired outfits over the next few weeks. Chambray is one of my favorite fabrics and a great lightweight alternative to denim. I found this adorable jumpsuit two weeks ago and scooped it right up. Instead of wearing the belt traditionally around the waist I opted to tie it in a bow on one shoulder. Just because an item comes a certain way doesn’t mean you can’t tweak it to have a little more style. I personally love anything with a bow and felt like it added a feminine touch this look.

Lately I’ve been really into pops of bright colors like this pink. I picked up these espadrilles last Spring (see here and here) and felt like they paired really nicely with the wide leg cut of this jumpsuit. Adding a little more pink with this cross  body with a removable strap (seen last here) as a clutch and statement earrings to pull it all together.

One of the things I’m currently working on is getting my life a little more organized. I made a list of thirty things to do in thirty days and am trying to cross 1-2 items off once a day. Some days I have a little more time than others and I can knock out more, while other days I’ve been out of town and couldn’t touch any of it. But the point is to get life together by the end of February for a fresh Spring start. One of the ways I am organizing is to reassess my staples in my wardrobe. This adorable sweater is one I’ve had for a few years now and I’ve notice it’s quality has endured the test of time. It bleaches easily to keep a fresh white and is made of a breathable cotton.

I’d love to hear about some of your favorite staples and which brands lasted over the years for you?
