With holiday parties in full swing it’s time to pull out the big guns and add some glamour to your makeup looks! Makeup can be just as bold of an accessory as your handbag. One of the fun things about makeup is that you can easily change your look up daily. I like to start with a good canvas and prep my skin with hydrating primer. If you have never used primer it really is more of a skincare product than a makeup product. It will protect your pores from makeup clogging them. Then, I use stick foundation which is fantastic during the Winter months! After those two steps you can add your concealer (this one is my absolute FAVORITE) and then setting powder.

Take for instance today’s post - soft peachy lips and cheeks with a coral shimmer eye add such a beautiful glow against the suede textured jacket with rose gold hardware. This look was created with MOODSTRUCK liquid shadows. You can choose from eight colors and mix and match to create different looks on your eyes, cheeks and lips! They were released just two months ago and I’ve found countless uses for them. Today’s look includes the color Exalted on my eyelids and cheeks. Then I used Reverent to highlight under the brow bone and on my cheek bones.

The last part of this look includes adding a peachy pink lipstick to flatter the soft lace and coral shimmer on eyes and cheeks. Holiday Glam

For today’s look, I wore a beautiful cobalt blue Amazon one-shoulder maxi dress which is a total steal. I comes in other colors but this one is on sale for $15. I love how it’s not a maternity dress, but has lots of stretch and room for the bump. I know I’ll be able to wear it at a later point in time. This would also be perfect for a winter wedding if you are attending any this season. I paired it with beautiful Kelly green mules (found an almost identical pair here on Amazon) and gorgeous Emerald green teardrop earrings. One way to make an outfit look upscale is to add a piece of dramatic statement jewelry.

Three Holiday Looks Wearing Red

The past two weeks I’ve been on a constant rotation of all things red. It started with our trip to Colorado where I pulled out a few of my favorite pieces for the season like this red coat that has been on repeat and this adorable bow embellished sweater. Then, once we returned home I decided to keep the holiday theme going! Red is such a classic and festive color for this time of year.

Party Pieces You Need This Season

It’s party season and I’m here for it! I love the holidays and love getting dressed up for any occasion. This year I’ve been really gravitating to all things sparkly and figured it was time to shine bright. Recently Grace Karin sent me a few new pieces that I’m just dying to share with you guys like this pretty peplum lace top in today’s post. I paired it with a short sequin skirt and bow-embellished heels. I love the simplicity of this look and you can mix and match it with so many other items to give you multiple outfits.

30 Days of Outfits: Day 12

I cannot believe it’s already 2023! Happy New Year! I pulled together this adorable look together earlier in the week. I rang in the new year at home with my boyfriend this year. It was heavenly and we were asleep long before midnight. Sometimes sleep is the best thing you can do. Anyhow, for fashion’s sake I pulled together this look to share with y’all. I wore a satin black dress with this elastic belt I have in a couple of colors. The dress is super silky and not see through. Also lightweight enough to convert to a nightgown and sleep in. Elisabet Tang recently sent me these heels and I think they are the classiest pair of shoes! Love them! I added a fur jacket I’ve had since college and beautiful statement earrings. 30 Days of Outfits: Day 8

Happy Thursday friends! December is flying by at a ridiculous rate. Have you finished all of your Christmas shopping? I have most of it done, but I am looking for a few last-minute things. The lace isn’t itchy at all which is huge for me. I have super sensitive skin and love that this one is comfy. You can wear it off-the-shoulder or on the shoulders. I belted it with this $13 black belt which instantly slims almost any dress giving you an hourglass shape. I added these pretty studs I bought last Spring when I was in Vegas for an event. They also would make a great present for any gal with her ears pierced since they are such a classic design. I layered a vintage statement necklace on it and then topped everything off with these festive metallic heels from Jenn Ardor. You can shop the entire look here!
