My sweetest friend made a tongue-in-cheek joke about Caturday when I posted this picture earlier today on Instagram. I thought it was only fitting that I name today's post after it! So clever and cute. Speaking of cat's - I'm literally "the cat's pajamas" today. No joke - my top is a pajama top. The pajama trend is probably my favorite trend in a long time. I don't always jump on board with things that are overly popular. I'd rather beat to my own drum and sport things the way I feel like... but pajamas daytime? How could I resist?
If you are not having an entire set of pj's for outings - try just a pair of silky pants with a chunky sweater and heels or the top with jeans and loafers or ballet flats. I think when you mix and match with regular items it looks less pajama-y and almost gives a classic feel.
I've had this leopard print top for a while and decided it was a perfect match with a pair of simple ballet slippers (worn last Tuesday) and pops of red. I love the way leopard works with a bubble gum shade of pink or bright candy apple red. My Kate Spade purse (which I gave to myself for my birthday) is quickly becoming my favorite Fall wardrobe addition. It's the perfect size for me to keep all my makeup and a water bottle (both are musts) without feeling too bulky.
