Dandelion

Oh to be a child again! That's exactly what a dandelion makes me think about. Simply wishing upon a million dreams. My eyes gravitate towards all parts of nature, but flowers seem to call out to me a little louder than other things. Whether it's a wildflower, a garden or a mere weed... I look at them over and over. I plucked a dandelion tonight and thought about how much I loved blowing them into a thousand pieces to be carried away by the wind.
I’ve been working in these white jeans I wore last Spring and Summer into Fall by pairing them with fall like items. These over the knee boots are perfect for Autumn and I plan on wearing them to an upcoming concert! They are a really great price point and very comfortable. I also love the way the elongate the leg. Anything that adds visual height for me is a winner in my book. I’ve found a few other ones below if you are looking to add a pair to your closet.
Florals are another print I love and recently moved into more muted versions. I made a skirt (see here) not too long ago in a dark floral and now am loving this sienna shaded top. A blouse with a high crew neck is a great option for work. I also plan to layer a collared shirt underneath and wear it over a simple sweater skirt (like this one). Although florals are usually reserved for warmer weather, if you go with the right colors and patterns they can work nicely into the Fall.
