Easter Dress

Easter Sunday was spent with my family in Aggieland. I came in Saturday afternoon and spent the night through Sunday evening. We had such a great time spending time together and eating a meal after going to Easter service that morning. This year, instead of having my Mom (who ususally does all of the cooking) busy - my sister and I took it upon ourselves to prepare a delicious meal. She made homemade lasagna and I did dessert. It was my first time making tiramisu and boy was it easy!
Tiramisu is a great dish to bring since it requires zero baking and just quick assembly a few hours beforehand. I decided to use this easy recipe since it was vegetarian and substituted amaretto with almond extract.
I've really been on DIY kick lately. I actually made the dress I am wearing from another one of Geneva's amazing tutorials. I have her book and frequently try her projects since they have easy to follow directions and turn out with a good result. I have an excellent board filled with future to dos here if you are looking for inspiration. This dress took about an hour to put together and I have plans to make a shirt using similar construction.
