Summer Stripes

TGIF!!! It's finally starting to feel like summer around here. Stripes are up there with one of my favorite prints and these adorable little flats are at the top of my list right now. I wore them a few weeks ago here with a gingham dress, but recently decided to pull them back out when I was digging through my closet. Stripes never go out of style and I love the classic navy and white combo worn here.

I also love navy with pink. It's a combination I flock to time and time again - see here, here and here. There's something really chic about it without looking like it's overdone. I grabbed one of my favorite bags and threw on a simple straw hat to keep my hair under control.

I'm headed to College Station to spend the weekend with my family for Father's Day. I frequent some of my favorite places like Blue Baker, Sweet Eugene's and love going on long walks. Some of the prettiest sunsets happen out here and it's a nice getaway from the bustling Houston life.
