I can't wait for the weekend. I'm already on holiday mode. (Who am I kidding, I've been on holiday mode for the past two weeks?) In an attempt to get organized, I've been spending weekday nights putting things in order, cleaning out and reorganizing around my place. The result? I've had the chance to get out and get going on my weekends.
This weekend, I'll be traveling with my little sister to Boerne, TX. I'm really excited about all of the outdoor activities we will be doing. She was my first travel companion and probably knows me better than anyone. We've done everything together since we were kids, from sharing rooms to outfits. Although our personalities and interests have meta-morphed over time, we will revert back to being kids when we are together.
Today I decided to pull out one of my favorite pieces, this red skirt. I've worn it countless times (it's actually a dress - see here) but it still find new ways to incorporate it. A simple navy and white striped shirt is perfect. I picked up these striped flats last Spring and have been surprised by all the things I've worn it with (see this post and this post). Just goes to show you how classic striped printed items are. From home decor to accessories, I can't get enough.
