Every now and then we all need a weekend with nothing on the books for plans. I have a habit of constantly filling up my schedule with things to do until suddenly I'm completely worn out. I decided to build a little rest and relaxation time into my weekend instead of too much socializing. Most of the weekend included binge watching Westworld (if you haven't seen it, I do recommend!) But I managed to emerge for a few hours on Saturday stop by an antique shop and old soda fountain for quiche and coffee.

This dress has to be one of my favorite picks right now. When I originally ordered it in blue (see this post), I like it so much that I immediately bought a red version. The price point was under $30 and I love the cut out in the back. When you find something you really love, buy multiples.

I've talked about my love for thrift and vintage clothes shopping, but from time to time I stop to look at antiques. I've picked up a few fun things over the years and when I strolled by this antique store I found the cutest picnic basket. Being that I frequently take my old picnic basket to the beach or park - I decided this neutral version could be useful. If you look closely, you'll be able to see it in the picture above on the far left awaiting me to purchase it.

I finished my Saturday afternoon by taking a good long walk. Walking is one of the best activities to de-stress. Not walking on a treadmill, but getting out. A wedge shoe is an excellent choice if you want a little height or you can easily slip on these slides if you are looking for a good pair of flats. I almost always carry an extra pair of shoes in my bag if I'm out all day.
