Hope you guys had an awesome weekend! I am getting more and more of my Christmas decor out and having a blast doing decorating. I’m curious, do you decorate before or after Thanksgiving? Anyhow, today I am rounding up my favorite items for the total boss babe. From these pumps use code: THREEHEELCLICKS40 for $40 off (the most comfortable I own - seriously… I can stand in them all day), this blazer is my favorite this season and comes in a bunch of colors and this gold stapler will make anyone feel like a total baller. I love this classic satchel for an everyday bag. I also added my favorite bath soak with Melatonin and this back massager which I’ve had for two years!!! Working hard, but playing and resting even harder is my motto. Shop the entire list at the bottom of the post! Which item is on your list this year?
Read MoreWith Thanksgiving being less than two weeks away it’s time to pull together a few looks for the day of feasting. It’s the perfect day for elastic waistbands but before you go pulling out your sweatpants let me introduce a few other ideas that are classy and comfortable. First up is a chunky knit cream colored sweater I found on Amazon. It’s super soft and not itchy at all. I’m really picky when it comes to buying fabrics. Anything that doesn’t feel good on my skin ends up getting tossed or donated so I try to be selective with the things I order these days. I paired it with these relaxed, drawstring trousers that are full-length on a shorty like me but would be cropped for someone with longer legs. Add a pair of beautiful heels and a classic structured bag for a complete look!
Read MoreI’m all about rocking a dress that makes you look and feel good. This beauty (I actually wore in blue a while back) is one of the most flattering dresses I own. Period. It comes in a variety of colors and I fell in love with it so much I bought it in both tan and a pale blue. Sometimes all you need is a dress, pair of good heels (seen here for another work outfit), and a classic bag. When I put on a dress like this I literally feel like a million bucks and the best part is how it hides all of the food babies I ate for lunch! Fits true to size and would be perfect with boots, sneakers, or a pair of loafers for a more casual look. I’ll probably wear it to Thanksgiving it’s that comfortable! Oh, and did I mention it’s under $40 and on Amazon? Yep, you heard me! Affordable, too.

There’s no denying we live in a different world than two years ago. However, no matter what shape things are in, we can still find ways to connect with our coworkers, create a space and environment we love working in, and enjoy our time doing the things that pay the bills. Although I am a work-from-home employee, in recent months my company has been pushing more face-to-face meetings and company events. Our home office employees have returned as have many of my friends. In a very uncertain time, I find it’s best to stay positive and realistic. Understanding that things are going to remain dynamic as we continue to navigate a pandemic and just take it one day at a time because nothing is set in stone. Here are a few ways I’m managing my sanity as I go back to see people face to face.

Usually you’ll find me in every single color under the sun but when it comes to basic black I’ve steered away. Lately, the opposite has been true. Maybe it’s because I am in my late 30’s (weird to say at 36). Maybe it’s just finally grown on me after all of these years. Maybe I’m just itching for another trip to Europe and pre-planning a classic capsule wardrobe (I happened to wear alot of black the last time I went so I would mesh in Paris).

Yesterday I had to drive into Houston for a business meeting and I realized over the past few months I really needed to up my work wardrobe. After living in sweat pants and tank tops for what seems an eternity, it was finally time to grab a few new items for work events. So many offices are re-opening or moving to part-time staff working at the office. I figured many of you could also benefit from a few new work inspired items for your wardrobe, too.
