I've been on a striped kick lately. Seriously, I just can't get enough of them! They are really getting me into the summer mood. I recently wore this cute red striped long sleeve tee, but haven't stopped there. Today I decided to tie up one of my favorite button ups and throw on a pair of white chino shorts for a relaxed day. Of course, I've also been obsessed with a boater hat. I can't seem to find anything that fits better for the last of the Memorial Day Weekend.
After spending the weekend outside at the pool and on long walks, BBQ's with the family and just enjoying the company of people I love the most in the world... I have to say it was a really great holiday weekend. Memorial Day is really an honor for us to get to spend with our loved ones and my family always takes time to remember the lives of those who fought for our freedom. It's a really special holiday and being grateful for these moments is a big part of being an American.
As we are entering the last month of Spring, I'm pulling out all things white and summery for the upcoming weeks. It's finally warming up here and I can't wait to get more time at the pool, beach and the lake. I'm currently making Summer plans to fill the calendar and have a fun time with friends.
