Falling in Love with Red
Lately I've really been digging red. From rain boots and jackets to this adorable Kate Spade purse, I can't get enough. I decided to pull out this blush shirt dress I wore last Spring here and give it a Fall twist. I added one of my other favorites, this red striped shirt from the Target's Who What Wear collection over my shoulders and a pop of red lips.
Sometimes it doesn't take much to give an outfit a whole new look. Blush was the color of the year for me last season, practically anything new I purchased was in this hue - and now as I'm transitioning into the Fall and Winter for the holidays, I'm already thinking about what I would like to do differently. My style evolves and is a dynamic part of my life. With that being said, I'm not a believer in just replacing everything I own every season. I prefer to incorporate new goodies with some classic favorites.
In other news, I'm preparing to take a short trip to Boerne, TX with my little sister next weekend. We are spending the weekend hiking through caverns and lounging riverside for some rest and relaxation. I'll be posting about it later on this month in a new Small Town Charm (you can read about my trip to Chappell Hill and Medina in previous posts). I drove through Boerne back in August and thought it was the most charming town!
