How to: Wear the Tiered Dress Two Ways
Lately I've been loving ethereal layers like this dress. The Who What Wear collection for Target was one of my favorites from this past season. I recently wore the top version both here and here, but decided when this dress went on sale - I would add it to the repertoire. Layers. Blush. Dress.... All combined into just one dress? Although the collection is sold out, I managed to find a few other similar dresses here, here and here.
For the dressy look, I paired it with a pair of checked pumps and sweater to wear to the office. You can easily switch out a printed sweater for something solid in white or black, but I thought it would be fun to add a little print to the mix. I like the way the black and white works with the soft hue of the pink dress. I added my very favorite Ted Baker purse (last seen here and here) to give the outfit structure. It's a perfect day-to-night dress - just remove the cardigan and head out for dinner after work.
For the casual look, I removed the cardigan and put on a pair of comfy leather slides. A large straw shopper is perfect for a quick flower run or just grabbing some items at a local farmer's market. Although I've been out of town a lot lately, I try to pick up flowers every week to fill my house with fresh beauties. I love little things like that. They bring so much joy to my life.
