Fall Rain
After 6 grueling months of heat it’s finally Fall here in Texas. Which basically means it’s under 90 degrees. Last weekend we got a good dose of rain and I pulled out my favorite boots and umbrella. Although it still is pretty warm it has been a breath of relief to have a little wet weather. Hunter rain boots have been a staple in my wardrobe for over two years. I love the quality and durability of their craftsmanship. I’ve worn them year round but seem to gravitate to wearing them more frequently in the Fall and Winter. This red pair is such a bold hue but has been really versatile in putting together outfits. Plus, who doesn’t like a bright color on a rainy day?
Although I’m from the South I am not one to play by the rules of fashion like not wearing white after Labor Day. I love white. It’s probably my favorite neutral and I do wear it year round. You may remember this yellow dress from Spring of 2017 and I bought it in white too. Whenever I find something I really love I try to pick up more than one color. I love a good chiffon dress. It looks like you are floating when you walk! You can easily dress down the material with boots or simple ballet flats!
