It may be February and I’m a minute late to the game but better late than never. As I realize the Earth’s energy is going to keep speeding up I’ve given myself so much more grace for emotions to roll in and out. For the first time in most of my life I am allowing every emotion to surface, be categorized and processed and then released. It hasn’t been an easy process but it is leading me to more vitality.

It was heavenly and we were asleep long before midnight. Sometimes sleep is the best thing you can do. Anyhow, for fashion’s sake I pulled together this look to share with y’all. I wore a satin black dress with this elastic belt I have in a couple of colors. The dress is super silky and not see through. Also lightweight enough to convert to a nightgown and sleep in. I recently ordered this beautiful piece and put it on as soon as it came in. I recommend sizing down one size if you want it to be more fitted like I am sharing in these photographs. The dress is under $60 and comes in three colors. It took everything in me not to order a second one as soon as this one arrived. The fabric is made of lightweight but good quality cotton that’s breathable. It has a pretty cutout in the back and can be worn without a belt. The cutout has an elastic waist so it conforms to your body. I have more of an hourglass shape so a lot of shirt dresses gape at the chest and are baggy around the waist. Not this one! It fits just right in all the necessary areas.

Because I spend so much time in my life working on screens my book time stays off screen.
