Confession: I’m a total outdoors gal. You might not expect me to say that being how much I love getting dolled up, but when I’m in nature I’m at home. From sunny days to trips to the beach to aggressive hikes in the mountains… I love it all. When given the option to work out at the gym or outdoors, you’ll find me jogging outside any day. Being that I love time outdoors means a lot of exposure to the sun. With the sun comes wrinkles if I leave my skin unprotected. These days more than ever I find myself being diligent about taking care of my skin and wearing a product with SPF daily is now built into my morning routine.
I’ve always hate the smell of sunscreen. I can remember mom putting it on me as a kid and oftentimes it would feel like it as making my skin burn as soon as it was applied. Looking back I realize my sensitive skin didn’t prefer some of the ingredients of sunscreen in the past. No need to fret now though! Sunscreen products have come a long way since I was a kid. I’ve been using YOU·OLOGY protecting veil SPF 30 broad spectrum beauty fluid for about two years now. It doesn’t irritate my skin or leave it feeling greasy. It also can be worn with or without makeup. It has both physical and chemical properties. I keep one bottle at home and one in my purse at all times.
It’s formulated with coffee, bitter orange, and rosemary extracts to leave your skin feeling soft. II also like that it’s lightly scented with a subtle and fresh fragrance. I apply it after my morning moisturizer and before any makeup that day. This beauty fluid will help prevent dark spots from getting darker on your face and more freckles from popping up. Also had to share that this week we released tanning drops too! This will be in my summer rotation along with the SPF veil. You can add them to your moisturizer and layer to create a beautiful tan!
