Travel is one of the things I work hard for, and right now that’s limited. I have been anxiously practicing social distancing as if going to the grocery store was human dodgeball, but my soul still loves to wander. What’s a girl to do?
Read MoreI mentioned a few days ago in my post with all the indigo Bluebonnets that Three Heel Clicks is now going to be also a resource for anxiety. One of the things I found about anxiety is that when you have a purpose it makes it a lot easier to glide it over the speed bumps of anxiety. So today I’m gonna share a little bit with you about a big piece of how I went from having constant panic attacks and living in a world of chaos to a clear, focused mindset

With all of the craziness happening right now I wanted to shift to talk about making life cozier at home. First of all, get some healthy snacks. Stock up on Kodiak cakes, Think thin bars, yogurt, cottage cheese and a variety of fruits and veggies. All healthy, lean choices. Not only has my diet shifted but my outfits are shifting, too.

Needless to say I was pretty moved at three pm sitting on my sofa and tearing up like a gigantic baby. She’s right. All of those are real issues and they share a single common denominator: self-worth.

If your like most of us the end of the year means piling one more thing on top of an already full plate. It means saying yes to a last minute invite when all you want is to crawl into your bed. It means extra glitter (which is the herpes of all craft supplies) requiring a NASA grade vacuum cleaner to remove all remnants. Yes, we know you are busy and we are too. I am no better at this thing called life than you are but I do have something going for myself - perspective. A positive perspective. I’m an eternal optimist and even when things are tough you’ll find me pushing hard to get through to the gold.
Read MoreWhen my other half and I were talking about NYE this year we both said we wanted to do the exact same thing: relax and pamper ourselves with a luxury overnight stay at a fancy hotel. Some may call it frivolous and a waste of money - until you sleep in 1000 thread count sheets in a 5 star hotel… then suddenly it’s no longer so frivolous because sleep can be the best way to give yourself some much needed time off. That’s just what we both needed: sleep.
