Location: The Dallas Arboretum and Botannical Garden, Dallas, TX

The past few months I’ve traveled back and forth to Dallas often. It’s an area I haven’t spent a ton of time in the past and I’ve really enjoyed getting to see the different parts of the city. Recently I decided to make it a point to stop by the Dallas Arboretum. The day I chose to go it actually snowed on me a while I was walking around. This garden is known for being one of the most photographic spots in the city. Each year the grounds are covered in flowers and blooms all Spring long. You will need to purchase a ticket online in advance and make sure you also purchase parking. You’ll pick an arrival time and you are encouraged to bring a picnic and spend a few hours there. I cannot wait to make a second trip over the Spring and share more about it with you guys!

On this particular day, I reached for a polished and layered look. I started with the cutest RED Valentino raspberry dress with a necktie as the focal point of the outfit. The peter pan collar is so sweet and the hemline flutes for an appealing shape. I layered a chunky grandpa cardigan and then a peacoat for additional layers. I do recommend sizing up in the dress. The arms and shoulders run small and are a little snugger than most short sleeve dresses I own. I wore a classic wool peacoat paired with navy tights to keep my legs warm. One of my favorite style tips for winter is to invest in a few pairs of colored tights and incorporate them into your everyday wardrobe. You can layer a dress over them and then a sweater over the dress to get more outfits out of it all year round.

You may remember that I was at the Sarah Flint Pop Up store in Dallas recently and purchased these Sacchetto Flats. Sarah Flint just released two new spring colors in rose gold and powder pink! You can shop using my link here and save $50 or use my code SARAHFLINT-BATHREEHEELCLICKS. I really love the incredible shape to this shoe. It’s wide in the toe box and has padding so you can walk around all day in them! They also require zero breaking in. I actually wore mine to dinner the night I bought them with no blisters. I’m going to be back in Dallas every few weeks over the next few months. If you are local or have been there in the past, please let me know your recommendations on sights, restaurants and activities!
